Overview
Regex is designed to run regular-expression tests in your browser. We do not require an account to use the workspace, and the regex pattern, flags, and test text you enter are evaluated locally by your browser.
Information we process
The workspace does not send your pattern or test text to an application server for matching. Basic web-hosting infrastructure may process standard request information needed to deliver this website, such as an IP address, browser type, and requested page. We do not use the regex workspace to collect account profiles or sell personal information.
Share links
When you choose Share, Regex creates a link containing the current pattern, flags, and test text in the URL and copies it to your clipboard when permission is available. Do not include passwords, API keys, personal data, or other sensitive information in a share link. Anyone who receives that link can read the values included in it.
Third-party services
This site is built to work without third-party analytics or advertising requests in the workspace flow. If that changes, this policy will be updated before those services are used.
